FAITH exists to empower, support, advocate, and connect transitioning families to educational and socioeconomic resources to brighten their future.
Our Cause
It is very challenging for refugee families who immigrate in the developed countires, especially the United States. Most of these refugees are less educated, grew up in refugee camps within developing countries, do not speak English, do know how to drive, have many children… We believe that:
1. If FAITH families get proper access to community-based resources, employment, and other opportunities, they can improve their socioeconomic conditions.
2. If school-age children get extra-curriculum opportunities to enhance their academic success, they can activate a bright future.
3. If FAITH parents are empowered with knowledge/information, techniques, and skills to build conducive learning homes, learning/academic outcomes can improve.
4. If FAITH families get technical support to navigate cultural, educational, driving, and economic system, they can intergrate better in a new society.
5. If FAITH organization partners/collaborates with other organizations, schools/colleges, and goverment agencies, several issues can be addressed effectively to improve and empower transitioning households.
